Have you ever been to Nusa Penida? Some people called the island as the hidden paradise of Bali. However, do you know that there are a lot more hidden paradises you can find inside of the Nusa Penida island?

As an island, Nusa Penida consists of beaches and coasts. The island itself is pretty secluded and not as crowded as other beaches in Bali. Not many tourists know about the beautiful beaches in Nusa Penida. Therefore, its precise to count natural attractions in Nusa Penida as hidden paradises. Let’s find out what are the hidden paradises we can find when we explore the island.

Kelingking Beach

‘Kelingking’ means pinkie, the fifth finger of the human’s hand. The land around the coast of Kelingking Beach resembles the shape of a pinkie. It is one of the hidden paradises in Nusa Penida, but lately, it has become more popular because of the beautiful and instagrammable scenery.

A lot of people compare the pinkie shape cliff as a dinosaur. When you look it from above, you will see that it also resembles a T-Rex. There is a spot on the cliff where tourist usually gets a picture at with the T-Rex shape cliff as the background.

Suwehan Beach

Suwehan Beach is more secluded than Kelingking Beach. This place is perfect for you who wish to enjoy the beautiful scenery while feeling the cool breeze of the ocean. It also has a big triangle-shape stone in the sea like in Pipi Island, Thailand.

The access to the beach is not easy. You have to make sure that you are strong enough to travel through various courses. First of all, you will have to climb a cliff. There, you will see a couple of temples and a water spring that consider sacred by the locals. Before you get to the beach, you will have to walk on the edge of the cliff and travel through the bushes. When you finally arrive at the beach, you will find the beauty matches for the long journey.

Atuh Beach

Located on the east side of the island, Atuh Beach is a unique place flanked by two amazing tall cliffs. The access is pretty hard, but not as hard as the course to Suwehan Beach. You have to climb down a steep and twisty stair. Make sure that you are in good condition when you visit Atuh Beach.

The entry fee to the beach is only Rp 5.000. Other than enjoying the scenery, you can also buy fresh coconut water drinks from the food stall around the beach. Not too far from Atuh Beach, there is a treehouse called Molenteng Treehouse that has a great view and stunning photo spot.

Tembeling Beach

Most tourists on Tembeling Beach are those who love nature and adventure. Like Atuh and Suwehan Beach, this beach is secluded and difficult to visit. The beauty of Tembeling Beach is not only from the sea, but also from the natural pool and the forest.

Even the locals of Nusa Penida never heard of Tembeling before. This place was first developed as a tourist attraction two years ago. The road to the Tembeling Beach will first lead you through the forest then the natural pool. The width of the pool is approximately 8×10 meters square with a depth of 10 meters. The water is so clear that most locals use it as a place to take a bath.

Relaxing on a secluded beach is perfect for you who want to have a little break from your daily routine. You can choose Nusa Penida as your travel destination. The hidden paradise that scattered all over the island will give you a new experience of peace and relaxation.
